The Inner Renewal [CC+AA] active plant cell was developed by Naolys on the basis of natural Cornflower Cells together with natural Vitamin C to counteract precisely this increased ageing process by targeting the Dermis. Inner Renewal [CC+AA] helps skin look younger and firmer by improving fibroblast function and stimulating proliferation. The active plant cell protects the fibroblasts from oxidative stress caused by free radicals, for example. In vitro, it was also found that Inner Renewal [CC+AA] stimulate the proliferation of keratinocytes. Furthermore, it promotes the synthesis of polysaccharides and collagen fibres, especially collagen type 1 and type 3. 
 
In the clinical study over 28 days with twice-daily application, it was found that Inner Renewal [CC+AA] with an application concentration of only 0.5 % was able to significantly reduce the length of wrinkles and also the number of wrinkles. Especially in the eye area, i.e. against crow's feet, very good results could be achieved. 
It was generally observed that the skin of the test persons was clearly firmer than before the application of Inner Renewal [CC+AA].
